In ancient Ethiopia, Queen Makeda, known as the Queen of Sheba, ruled a rich and powerful kingdom. Seeking wisdom, she traveled to Jerusalem to meet the wise King Solomon. Their encounter became legendary, and their union produced a son: Menelik I.

Menelik later returned to Ethiopia, bringing with her the Ark of the Covenant, which is believed to be hidden today in sacred Axum. Queen Makeda is considered the mother of the Ethiopian royal family, and her legacy lives on today.
